Care Instructions – Curly Synthetic Ponytail Extension

To keep your ponytail looking soft, defined and tangle-free, please follow the care instructions below.

Before Wearing

- Gently detangle using your fingers or a wide-tooth comb.

- Start from the ends and work upwards.

- Avoid excessive brushing, especially when dry.

Washing

- Fill a basin with cool water.

- Add a small amount of mild shampoo and gently immerse the ponytail.

- Soak for 5–10 minutes.

- Rinse thoroughly with cool water.

- Apply a small amount of conditioner or wig conditioner if desired.

- Rinse again and gently pat dry with a towel.

- Do not rub, twist or wring the hair.

- Allow the ponytail to air dry naturally.

Styling

- Made from heat-resistant synthetic fibre.

- Heat tools may be used on a low setting up to 150°C.

- Always test a small section first.

- Excessive heat may permanently alter the curl pattern.

Maintaining the Curls

- Finger-comb curls whenever possible.

- Refresh curls using a spray bottle filled with water and a small amount of conditioner.

- Gently scrunch the curls and allow them to air dry.

- Avoid heavy oils and styling products as they may cause build-up.

Storage

- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

- Hang or place in a satin bag when not in use.

- Ensure the ponytail is completely dry before storing.

Important

- Some shedding is normal during the first few uses.

- Avoid sleeping, swimming or showering while wearing the ponytail.

- Do not use boiling water or high heat as this may damage the synthetic fibres.

- With proper care, your ponytail will maintain its softness, volume and curl definition for longer.

Tip: Lightly mist the ponytail with water and gently scrunch the curls to revive the original water-wave pattern.
